Q: I’m getting married. What’s your process for wedding flowers and styling services?
A: Firstly, YAY and congratulations! We understand that whilst wedding planning can be heaps of fun, it can also be incredibly stressful. Our goal is to ensure your wedding flowers and styling experience is as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
The first step is to send us some information about your big day including the date, venue and what you have in mind. We’ll then set up a time to meet in person to talk through what you envision for your flowers and styling. From there we’ll send you a proposal based on what we discussed.
We love Pinterest, so feel free to start an inspiration board of your favourite blooms to show us during the consultation.
Q: How soon should I book my wedding florist?
A: Most wedding florists take a limited number of weddings each weekend, so it’s a good idea to meet with potential suppliers as soon as possible. It helps to have your wedding venue/s and date confirmed as well as a good idea of your wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses so the discussion about blooms and styling is as accurate as possible.
Providing an excellent service is important to us. That’s why we book only one wedding per day. This ensures your wedding day has our undivided attention. As soon as you’ve confirmed your wedding date, please contact us to see if we’re available.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: We provide a full service offering, from floral design through to delivery/pack down, installation, styling and transfers (enabling you to use your ceremony flowers at your reception if you wish). We also offer an a la carte (flowers only) service for couples using a wedding stylist or adopting a more DIY approach.
For international or inter-state brides, we offer event design and coordination services for those considering a destination wedding in Perth, Margaret River or south west Western Australia. Interpreting services for Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese speaking couples are available.
Q: How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?
A: Every wedding is unique, so we aim to work within your budget. As a guide, our bridal bouquets start from $280, bridesmaids from $190, buttonholes from $20, flower crowns from $95 and table centre pieces from $110. Delivery, pack down and styling are quoted on an hourly basis.
Q: Are some flowers only available in certain months?
A: Many of the popular wedding flower varieties such as peonies, David Austin garden roses, ranunculus and lisianthus are seasonal and timings vary slightly each year. As we’re dealing with mother nature and all her unpredictability, it’s a good idea to have a few favourite flowers in mind in case the season ends early or the wholesaler flower shipment is delayed.
Q: Do you offer hire items or do I need to buy my own vases etc?
A: We have an ever growing range of vaseware for hire, both custom commissioned and sourced from around Australia. If we don’t have it, we can help source items for you or point you in the direction of someone who does.
Q: Do you have an arbour for hire?
A: Yes, we have a gorgeous wooden two post arbour for hire with our floral services. Please inquire for further details.
